June 2019: The first ever PR Cup, a five-a-side tournament for agencies and comms professionals, will take place on Friday 12th July in London.

The 16-team tournament will see the PR Pogbas and marketing Messis lock horns at Powerleague Nine Elms in Vauxhall and eventually crown the inaugural football champions of the PR industry.

As well as finding the industry’s Iniesta, the event will also help raise funds and awareness for the Taylor Bennett Foundation, the organisation who address the need for greater diversity in the Public Relations (PR) industry, by encouraging black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) graduates to pursue a career in communications.

The tournament has been jointly organised by PR Week, The Taylor Bennett Foundation and PR-for SEO agency Ready10 and event costs have been generously covered by sponsor markettiers4dc . As a result, every penny of the entry fees will go towards the Taylor Bennett Foundation.

Entry is £249 per team before the 19th June early bird deadline, and teams can be registered here: Taylor Bennett Foundation Eventbrite

Mixed teams of up to 10 players will compete in the day tournament to find out who can secure top spot as the best footballing PR agency.
