The role

As an Account Manager at Alfred you will be working across leading names in games and tech, building their brand reputation and helping them to launch some of the most exciting new technology in the world. You will inspire the team to deliver brilliant results and ensure that day-to-day your accounts are running smoothly and efficiently, making sure that the plans, activity and results are delivered to the highest standard. You will also have a passion for technology, games and driving best in class results across media relations and client briefs!

How you will support with the Alfred Mission:

  • Deploying strong organisation and communication skills to ensure all account activity is delivered in line with Alfred’s standards for responsiveness, quality and client service
  • Demonstrating proficient project management skills by efficiently managing timelines and budgets to deliver KPIs
  • Fostering a strong sense of ownership and responsibility-to-deliver among junior team members (SAE and below) through effective delegation of workload and thorough briefings
  • Provide client council, and consultation on key campaigns, being able to problem solve and provide solutions to any issues that may occur
  • Demonstrate your deep understanding of the media landscape on a daily basis to the junior team to pass down best practise and your understanding of their audience(s) and ability to pitch a story in-keeping with their interests to secure coverage
  • Achieve a high-quality stream of media coverage, including in-depth features, interviews and articles, which really move the needle for the client, through staying on top of the media agenda
  • Proactively looking beyond traditional PR to recommend wider opportunities, such as digital, social, experiential etc. that will help clients achieve their communications objectives
  • Having an understanding of target audiences, brand perception and positioning and using this to contribute to discussions with clients about their brand campaigns
  • Producing a range of written content, including press releases, reports, by-line articles, case studies and opinion pieces that are accurate and tailored to intended audiences
  • Identifying and maximising growth opportunities across your client portfolio with the support of your account lead

About you

  • Experience managing product press offices
  • Great media contacts across consumer lifestyle and consumer tech
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Experience working for consumer tech clients
  • Interest in technology and games would be a bonus
