Campaign Director 

Salary bracket: £37k+ depending on experience

If you want to lead integrated campaigns that make a big difference to society then our Campaign Director position might be just the role for you. We’re looking for a passionate, talented comms leader. With over five years’ experience in an agency role or as a senior comms leader in house, you’ll want to take on your next challenge to help us deliver campaigns that work, for clients we love and causes we believe in.

You’ll work with some outstanding organisations across the public and private sector including Welsh Government, FOR Cardiff, St Johns Ambulance Cymru, Social Care Wales, Public Health Wales, Princes Gate, La Salle, National Adoption Service and many more.

You will manage and oversee a team to ensure our high-profile campaigns are delivered and service level agreements are met. You will be commercially minded and creative in nature. Adept at building relationships with key commentators, industry spokespeople and senior journalists, you will direct and lead integrated campaigns and provide counsel to our clients and team. As a senior member of the business you will deliver new business and grow existing accounts.

You will be driven by data and insight, believe in excellent client service and have wide ranging experience creating and delivering fully integrated campaigns, as well as expert knowledge of seeding award winning content creation.

You will be used to delivering successful communications campaigns on time and on budget with creativity and knowledge.

We’re looking for someone who is already in a senior role and if you know how to do the following and do it well, then you’ll be asked to interview:

  • Lead and manage a team within a PR environment
  • Create full integrated campaigns including PR, marketing, social, digital, media buying and experiential activity
  • Win new clients and pitch for business
  • Manage multiple clients with clashing deadlines and often short timeframes
  • Represent the business at a senior level and communicate across teams
  • Build relationships with key influencers and industry spokespeople
  • Project manage with strong organisational and planning skills
  • Write well for the target audience and channel
  • Analyse, interpret and present complex data to a range of audiences
  • Negotiate and delegate
  • Contribute to the growth and expansion of our business
