We are a financial services group (Bank) focused on retail and commercial customers – with millions of customers in the UK, and a presence in nearly every community.

It is our role to help businesses and individuals, while making a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate. Our creative studio team consists of 15 creative professionals who support our Banking Group’s communications objectives.

We do this through the creation of innovative graphic, motion, video, photography, and audio content. Our intern needs to have a passion for all things creative thinking, production, and activation. We will give them the opportunity to be immersed in the creation of internal(colleague) and external (corporate stakeholder) content as part of a highly energic and pro-active team.

We deliver content for a diverse number of teams and campaigns, from colleague stories to sustainability, British businesses to charitable foundations, graduate recruitment to leadership communications. Our focus is bringing to life how we help Britain prosper. We need your dynamic, energetic, and thoughtful personality to inject new ideas, approaches, and ways of thinking and doing into our team!

There will be opportunities to support in both video and photography, as well as potentially in the graphic design and motion graphics skillsets in the teamthis will be dictated by your areas of study, capability, and interest.

Tasks you would be doing:

  • Working with our Production Manager, Creative Leads, and Team on creative ideas
  • Supporting on-location and on-site photo and video shoots
  • Organising call sheets and shoot materials
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure all timings are collated
  • Sourcing and feeding back creative case studies to empower and delight the Studio
  • Taking part in brainstorms and developing creative ideas

Opportunities that will also be available:

  • Copywritingworking with the Production Lead to develop scripts for motion and animation
  • Designworking with our Creative Lead to understand and deploy key design skills
  • Productionworking with our Production Manager to develop practical and organisational skills, imperative to delivering commercial creativity

Essential skills:

  • Strong interest in creative content across film, stills and design
  • A desire to enhance communications and create better experiences for audiences
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate a strong collaborative ethic
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
