Digital Content Manager 

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service has a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Content Manager to join our team in Exeter, on a full-time (37 hours per week), two-year fixed term contract. In return, you will receive a salary of £38296 - £41496 per annum. 

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service is the largest non-metropolitan fire and rescue service in England. We provide prevention, protection, and response services across the counties of Devon and Somerset.

About the Digital Content Manager role: 

The Digital Content Manager supports our audiences and the Service to interact by developing and maintaining digital communications tools and supporting the effective use of content across these channels. 

This involves working with colleagues across the Service to develop digital communications content and solutions that are both informational and transactional, and support user needs and aims of the Service. 

The Digital Content Manager has an overview of all digital content and tools to deliver it. 

They lead on the development and ongoing improvements to our digital communications tools, such as the Service's website, intranet, and social media channels. 

They set which content styles are appropriate and ensure all content adheres to the agreed design principles.
