We have lived through unprecedented times as a planet, that in itself is a massive statement to write. Not one person on earth has been left unaffected by the pandemic. Sarah Pinch will talk about how communicators could respond to the changed world. Sarah will draw on personal, professional and industry experience. Giving some pointers and ideas on how we can continue to engage effectively and reach those stakeholders who we need to involve in decision making.

Sarah Pinch MD, Pinch Point Communications

Sarah is MD of Pinch Point Communications, an Independent Advisor to The Senedd, Vice Chair and Non-Executive for Manx Care, Trustee of Bristol Students’ Union and Chair of the Taylor Bennett Foundation.

Starting as a BBC journalist, she has worked in corporate communications since 2000, in house for Christian Aid, Children’s Hospice South West, First Group plc and the NHS.  She founded PPC in 2013 and the agency works across all sectors, specialising in all areas of change management, staff engagement, strategic communication and issues and crisis management.

She launched Spring Forward in 2018 an annual conference aimed at women who want to run the show, was President of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in 2015 and served five years as a Non-Executive Director of the Health and Safety Executive.

Sarah lives in Bristol with her young family, she started running five years ago and is evangelical about its benefits.
