Femi is a National Teaching Fellow, executive coach, mentor and former Director Of Employability at the University Of East London.

Femi has worked successfully with disadvantaged learners in schools, colleges, universities and employment for over 20 years. Her work has included helping to establish the Taylor Bennett Foundation training programme, developing an award winning employability programme for Deloitte, increasing the number of black, Asian and ethnic minority senior leaders in London schools through an Institute Of Education development programme and setting up a learning centre for Millennium Dome employees.

Femi’s practice and passion for learner success has been recognised through national awards including a National Training Award and A Business In The Community – Education & Lifelong Learning award. Femi is a trustee for the Black Training And Enterprise Group, a member of the advisory board for the Office For Fair Access and a supporter of the Amos Bursary. In 2012 Femi was awarded an MBE for services to diversity.
