At this stage in your career you will be focusing on learning about the hospitality business and the PR industry. You will be starting to build your knowledge of publications, journalists and influencers as well as gaining a more thorough understanding of the role of PRs and how we work with clients. You will also be developing your communication skills to fit with the agency, as well as the various daily administrative tasks associated with your role. Key responsibilities: Partake in media monitoring and clipping across client base to include searching for, saving, naming and sending to Account Executives and Senior Account Executives to send onto clients. Supporting the team with list creation, including publication and name inputting, as well as email contacts. - Taking ownership for management of our media databases. Ensuring all client assets are saved to the company drive in a logical format and names correctly across the board. Conduct editorial research and audits to identify opportunities for the wider team to pitch into for client coverage. Monitoring industry news and competitor businesses. Play an active part in team discussions and brainstorms. Supporting the team at events and in the lead up with guest lists and invite tracking. Essential requirements: A passion for the hospitality industry - all that it is and does - and a keenness to learn and experience more. Keen to be part of a dedicated team in a fast-paced, agency environment. A people person who is happy to pick up the phone, meet members of the industry and be present at events. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets) and Microsoft (Word, Powerpoint, Slides). Eager to contribute new ideas and grow within the agency.
