We are rapidly growing our digital capabilities to support our existing specialisms in PR and media relations, so we can adopt the most innovative and effective approaches to support our clients. 

Job in brief

We are looking for a Social Media Account Manager to join our growing digital team and help shape our agency offer. You will have a strong understanding of a variety of digital marketing channels, experience of running social media accounts and influencer campaigns, and the ability to create compelling content. We engage both B2C and B2B and stakeholder audiences, so an ability to turn your hand to different sectors and audiences is important. You should be ambitious, proactive and passionate about the environment. This is an amazing opportunity to use your skills to help amplify some amazing clients who are at the forefront of tackling the climate emergency.

Key accountabilities 

Digital campaigns

  • Managing socially-led digital campaigns for retained and project clients.
  • Writing high-quality content across social platforms and blogs (including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook).
  • Designing social assets and templates that can work across platforms (design skills are not a mandatory but would be highly desirable).
  • Developing engaging social strategies and content calendars for clients.
  • Growing and managing social communities for clients, including identifying influencers and creating outreach programmes to engage them.
  • Using social listening and social analytics tools to inform strategy and develop campaign reports.
  • Analysing social data to optimise performance and inform social strategy. 

Project management

  • Owning social and digital projects from strategy to delivery and reporting.
  • Prioritising tasks whilst managing responsibilities of the wider project team.
  • Supporting junior team members in planning and prioritising activity.
  • Keeping to deadlines, managing timelines, and delivering projects in an efficient and timely manner.

Client relationships

  • Demonstrating expert knowledge of clients’ business, their competitors and the sector.
  • Communicating with clients regularly, providing updates on activity, seeking feedback and giving advice.
  • Showing the ability to earn clients’ trust and build strong, lasting relationships
  • Attending client meetings and taking responsibility for delivering progress and results.
  • Driving campaigns forward in a proactive manner.
  • Recognising potential issues and flagging/resolving them in a timely fashion, always providing solutions.
  • Presenting proposals and ideas to clients in a clear and compelling manner.  


  • Managing project budgets and supplier costs.
  • Maintaining account profitability through team service levels, time analysis and budgeting.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and profitability.

Line management

  • Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and profitability.
  • Managing two account executives, setting their objectives and supporting their career development.
  • Effectively supporting Account Directors and the wider team to achieve client and company goals.
  • Developing a coaching mindset and management skills that contribute to team accountability and growth
