We are now looking for an Account Manager in London be responsible for day-to-day management of the B2B Tech client accounts, implementing agreed account strategy and programmes. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of client accounts, implementing agreed account strategy and programmes. Your creative input will be crucial to planning the programme. And your clients will expect you to: Effectively manage all executional aspects of the account and deliver a high quality of work, including excellent written work, understanding how to adapt your written style to the demands of a particular task Proactively update them on the account status and actions Provide appropriate support to account directors and account executives to ensure the smooth running of the account Build positive relationships with client contacts and other agencies/partners that the client works with Have an excellent understanding of their target media, brand, products and marketplace Have and continue to build excellent relationships with a broad range of target media Our responsibilities: Responsibility for driving implementation of agreed client programmes/ work Project planning and development of critical paths and timetables for all client work Contribute to strategic discussions about client accounts Lead and contribute strongly in meetings, with ideas and input across all activity Manage junior members of account team Manage and delegate work in a timely fashion Assume Account Directors’ responsibilities in their absence/ unavailability Skills and expertise Oversee and implement media relations’ activity, including timings, distribution lists, methods of distribution Develop media strategies for clients’ interests Manage collation of all coverage, evaluation and presentation to client Strong media handling skills, including supporting crisis communications work Identify opportunities to expand and develop existing business with clients Writing proposals and presentations for client projects Support development of new business proposals and attend new business pitches Contribute to Harvard’s marketing activity Demonstrate Harvard’s values – social, curious, open, responsible, entrepreneurial and Demonstrate strong technology sector knowledge Demonstrate strong media and digital trends knowledge Be responsible for sustaining a high quality of work and meeting deadlines across your accounts at all times Provide out of hours support as necessary The Harvard Values Social – creating strong teams that know how to work together Curious – curiosity leads to continuous questioning and learning Open – open minds lead to better ideas and relationships Responsible – aiming to be a force for good in the way we do business Entrepreneurial – everyone behaving as if it was their own business Expert – passionate about being a specialist How to apply To apply for this role please click here.
