The Intern will support the Commercial business partner team on a number of activations across internal communications and external thought leadership campaigns, including:

  • Working alongside team members to prepare and deliver All Colleague Calls for the Group’s Half Year Results, for both Business & Commercial Banking and Corporate & Institutional Banking. These calls will update colleagues on the Group’s performance during the first six months of the year, where we will want colleagues to take pride in the results delivered but also understand the priorities for each business unit for the remainder of the year.
  • Working under the guidance of the team member responsible for CB Engage, which is the weekly news round-up emailed to BCB and CIB colleagues, to support its delivery, culminating in end-to-end ownership of its delivery during the internship
  • The Intern would also have the opportunity to work with the business partner team, the agency and the GEC member’s team to review and measure the social media activity, write content and make recommendations
  • In conjunction with team members, supporting on the Channel Four initiative to support our Black Entrepreneur campaign. This will include supporting on press release drafting to announce its launch and supporting the preparation of campaign materials.
  • Undertaking the initial analysis of the Onclusive/ RSP media evaluation report, outlining key findings and making recommendations for areas for improvements
  • Participating in reviewing and proofing of press releases
  • Being an active participant in weekly progress and monthly planning meetings with our PR agencies.
