Applications are now open for our new leadership programme - Elevate.

Earlier this year, here at the Foundation we shared with our alumni an overview of a brand-new leadership programme we are working on in partnership with HSBC. This programme, which is specifically targeted at mid-senior ethnic diverse professionals has been created to support their career goals and aspirations in relation to increasing senior leadership representation within the PR and Communications industry.

Over the past few months, we have worked at great length to create a pilot programme to meet the needs of the next generation of leaders who will be stepping into senior and executive positions. Elevate headlined and sponsored by HSBC as well as supported by our extensive senior executive network, is focused on empowering the next cohort of leaders in building their confidence, network, leadership skills and mindset in becoming successful senior practitioners.

And so, we are pleased to announce that applications are officially open for the Elevate Leadership Programme!

This 12-month programme will bring together some of the industry's well-known leaders, executives, and sector professionals to deliver topics, sessions, and mentorship throughout the programme to see you achieve your full career potential.

Elevate will incorporate the following topics and more:

  • Executive coaching and mentorship
  • Professional networking
  • Leadership training

Session topics will cover the below and more:

  • How to build a commercial CV and cover letter
  • Thought leadership
  • All things budgets: how to acquire, manage and execute for projects and campaigns
  • Executive insights
  • The invisible glass ceiling and how to break through it
  • Salary negotiation: asking for what you want and getting it

If you are an established communications professional from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background who is ready to take your career to the next level, or if you know of someone who is ethnically diverse that you think this programme would be suitable for, please have them fill out an application form.
