The Role We’re looking for individuals who are self-starting, motivated and enthusiastic and want to jump into the world of communications. You’ll need to be positive, ambitious, team orientated, and passionate about delivering work you can be proud of. You’ll be responsible for keeping the team running using your great administration skills which will include media monitoring and tracking and will always be ready to support the running of accounts in any way that you can. In addition, you’ll need to be creative, solutions focused and come to the office with an understanding of the news for each day so that you can make story suggestions and share knowledge with the wider team and ultimately with our clients. Day to day responsibilities may include (but won’t be limited to!): Account admin – updating media lists, status reports, filing, tracking coverage and sharing insightful FYI’s with the team as well as supporting with notes and meeting preparation Media – daily reporting, news analysis, spotting opportunities for opportunities for clients or upcoming issues which may impact them, media relations and sell ins Research – pulling together reports for the team on specific areas of client interest Writing – from client emails and status reports to press release writing, web copy and social posts Digital – monitoring social analytics, influencer campaigns and spotting new trends/ emerging channels Essential skills: An understanding of what PR is and why you would like to work in the industry Desirable skills: Writing skills Confident speaker Creative thinker Curious Enthusiastic and inquisitive How to apply Please apply with a CV and cover letter (no longer than 250 words) explaining your interest in the position, any relevant experience or transferable skills you may have that makes you suitable for the role.
