Job Reference: SS23PG1 Start date: July - August 2023 (Flexible date) Salary: London Living Wage Who can apply: School leaver, Undergraduates and Graduates Duration of internship: Monday to Friday for 3 months. We will review our requirements after the initial 3 months Internship format: In-office (Hybrid) Office location: London Summary Our clients in the media, advertising and tech sectors. We also have a content division and offer business development services. We provide an internal three month training plan to ensure that you get a true experience of what day-to-day life is like working at a PR agency. If a candidate is particularly interested in the technology side of the business there is an opportunity to create a tech intern pathway that focuses on our technology clients and the common opportunities and issues that arise across technology clients. What will you be doing? Taking part in the daily media meeting Compiling and sending out our daily Newsround newsletter for our clients and contacts Putting together our client coverage Updating our client reporting system Taking part in brainstorms and generating ideas for our clients Proofreading Drafting releases and comments for our clients Carrying out research tasks Pitching story ideas to journalists, under supervision from account teams Essential skills/experience Excellent face-to-face, telephone and email communications skills are essential. As part of a tightly-knit team, you will also contribute to the ongoing development of the agency by attending industry events and helping to organise some of our own events.
