We work to ensure that lessons from research are used more swiftly,effectively, and systematically, to improve healthcare services for everyone in our diverse local population. We provide a comprehensive communications service for King’s HealthPartners (KHP), enhancing and protecting the reputation of the partnership, engaging with our key audiences through internal and external communications. What you will do: Responsibilities will include: General internal and external communications Web content management Event management Media relations and proactive news opportunities Additionally, you will be producing clear and engaging copy, coordinating our fortnightly digital newsletter, supporting events across all programmes and offering expertise, oversight and support on stakeholder engagement across the organisation. This individual will assist with communications tasks including, but not limited to: writing and editing, photo and video production and editing, web and social media analytics, social media content, graphic design, media relations, digital asset management, event coordination and other communications and administrative support tasks as assigned. The skills they are looking for: The successful candidate will be interested in healthcare and the NHS but also creative, proactive with strong multi-tasking and organisational capabilities and able to build excellent relationships with colleagues at all levels. They will have: GCSE English or equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills Be able to think strategically and work flexibly to tight deadlines and with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail and produce well written communications. Able to work in a busy environment and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines. Ability to relate to people at all levels, and to deal with senior colleagues with confidence. Familiar with Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Desirable skills: We are also looking for someone with: Experience with social media management. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software or similar design software Experience with CMS. Experience with mailing software. Experience with videography and video editing software.
