You will be exposed to a variety of tasks and projects but some accountabilities will include: 

  • Collating media coverage for clients
  • Media monitoring through the day
  • Drafting a press release
  • Experiencing a results day (from 7am in the office)
  • Noting media and analyst call Q&As
  • Researching clients via Annual Reports and Financial Results
  • Sector and role-based introductory conversations
  • Updating media distribution lists with the correct journalists

  • Comprehensive understanding of financial media
  • Experience of working successfully in a team environment
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills
  • Interest in the capital markets and building financial acumen over time
  • Accountability for written work and excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-starting

Desirable skills: 

  • Ability to prepare pitches and presentations
  • Conduct thorough research
  • Be able to proof-read documents

  • Someone who is personable, motivated and ambitious
  • Willing to learn and develop, with a genuine passion for the Financial PR industry
  • They need to come with an open mind, be inquisitive and confident to ask questions and broaden their knowledge around our industry.
