What you will do:

Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility comprises of Corporate Communications, Citizenship, Business Management, Group Brand and Sponsorship, Events, Roadshows and Hospitality, Government Relations, Regulatory Relations, and Sustainability & ESG, with colleagues based in the UK, the US, and Asia.

Working at the heart of the Corporate Communications team the role holder will work closely with the Group Media Relations team to protect and enhance the company reputation to various stakeholders. During the internship, the role holder will rotate around teams including media relations, internal communications, digital channels and government relations. Additionally, the role will include:

  • Supporting teams to develop and deliver campaigns, support in the communication of our financial results, as well as support the team in handling reactive enquiries.
  • Work closely with the wider Corporate Communications teams, understanding how the bank develops Group-wide campaigns and how we maximise their reach to key audiences and stakeholders through different channels, ultimately in support of our strategic priorities.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders.
