What will you be working on throughout the internship? 

The Reputation Strategy & Planning team are the heart of GCA and are responsible for strategic corporate brand campaigns. The team also lead on insight and planning for GCA.

We are currently working on our reputation strategy for our CEO’s new Group strategy which will span and build over the next 5 years. This is the main piece of work we would like the intern to work on to give them an understanding of how we derive the most reputational benefit from everything the Group does.

There will also be some key work on insight and planning which will help to frame the broader work the team does on strategy and campaigns. The aim is to provide a holistic experience of a reputation team.

Skills or experience we are looking for: 

The candidate will need to be able to write well and to have a general interest in current affairs. Good interpersonal skills will also be important as there is a lot of stakeholder management and engagement involved in this role.

Desirable skills or experience: 

An awareness or knowledge of what a corporate affairs team does would be beneficial, as would a background in writing.

What qualities are we looking for in an intern?

A willingness and passion for learning is a must. We want to make sure they get the most out of their time with us. Good judgement and interpersonal skills are key as lots of what we do can be subjective, and they will need to manage tricky and senior stakeholders on a regular basis.

They need to be resilient and confident and attack everything with tenacity and a desire to do their best.
