Role Description:

We are looking for a Digital Communications Intern who has a passion for the arts and culture, digital marketing and content creation. As a digital communications intern, you will gain an insight into the importance of digital marketing and branding, gaining firsthand experience in implementing digital and social media campaigns. This internship will help you acquire valuable marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies including paid social media through dedicated training opportunities.

Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will be an integral part of the Digital team at the agency, working across different clients to support the day-to-day management of digital accounts, including social media content creation and scheduling, copywriting and research, as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft social media content, both visual and written, and provide creative ideas for client campaigns
  • Schedule social media content through Sprout Social
  • Support in drafting social media and website performance reports
  • Support in preparing presentations
  • Attend e clients’ calls and circulate meeting notes

Person specifications: 

  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and produce high-quality work to deadline
  • A passion for visual arts and culture at large
  • A passion for digital communications and marketing with a strong desire to learn
  • A good knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in social media management and copywriting is a plus
