The Role – intern

  • Media relations: helping to sell in to media, speaking to journalists about our clients’ stories. You will also be responsible for managing and updating media lists and contacts. Keeping up to date with journalists’ moves
  • Account support: helping to build media lists and track coverage, preparing reports for clients
  • Creativity: participating in team brainstorms, sharing ideas and tactics for clients
  • Media materials: You will be given the opportunity to write press releases, media alerts, coverage emails 

Your Skills

  • You will be a creative person, an articulate speaker and presenter and a good writer
  • Ensuring you have a good knowledge and understanding on technology tools (from Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel) to social channels such as Twitter, Instagram and TikTok – you will monitor trends in the digital media landscape and share with teams/clients, as appropriate
  • You will be a self-starter that is hungry for growing your own knowledge and ability and helping to move the agency forward
  • We will expect you to have a keen interest in the news agenda and will expect a candidate who is abreast of current news and isn’t shy to suggest ideas and show thinking
