What will you be working on throughout the internship? Work with the Group Executive Functions Business Partner team to build the strategic, Group-wide communications as we start moving to the platform operating model plan. Support the development and tactical delivery of a Group-wide comms plan as we transition to a new way of working and deliver change across the organisation. The role will have a focus on developing content for internal communications, but they will have exposure to a range of internal and external comms activity and channels during their internship. We are looking to generate creative ideas to build engagement and energy with colleagues as we move to this new way of working. There will also be an opportunity to work on leadership engagement activity. The Summer Star would be joining the team at a key moment, as we change the way we’re organised to help us deliver on our strategy to become a more innovative and faster paced organisation. The Summer Star would have exposure to a range of colleagues within their direct team and have the opportunity to learn from different skills sets and areas of expertise - from future of work to environmental sustainability. Skills or experience we are looking for: Excellent attention to detail Ability and willingness to collaborate with direct team and colleagues across GCA A creative thinker, who can help us generate fresh and different ideas Ideally they would be a strong writer, with some understanding of key internal comms principles Desirable skills or experience: Some knowledge of internal communications would be ideal Some knowledge of and a sensitivity to the comms challenges of changing ways of working in a big organisation What qualities are we looking for in an intern?
