Taylor Bennett Foundation Launches Alumni Advisory Board at Sony Music Showcase Event

The Taylor Bennett Foundation (TBF) has launched its first-ever Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) – a new initiative designed to mobilise its growing network of more than 1,200 alumni and ensure their voices help shape the Foundation’s future.

Announced at the TBF Alumni Showcase, hosted at Sony Music Entertainment, the AAB brings alums into the heart of the Foundation’s strategy. The Board will lead alum engagement, deliver community events, and advise on programme direction and organisational priorities.

The inaugural board is chaired by Amira Williams, Account Director at Missive and a graduate of the Foundation’s 2018 PR Training Programme.

Amira Williams, Chair of TBF’s Alumni Advisory Board, commented:

The Taylor Bennett Foundation has played a pivotal role in my career, and this Board is a vital step in ensuring alumni voices shape its future. I’m excited to be working with the rest of my board members to strengthen our network, support future cohorts, and keep TBF’s mission at the heart of the industry. Having taken part in the 2018 programme, stepping into the role of Chair now feels like a full-circle moment,” said Amira.

The showcase brought together more than 100 alums, partners, and supporters to celebrate the power of representation and community in PR and communications. It featured a panel discussion with senior leaders from organisations including Adobe and FTI Consulting, highlighting the growing influence of TBF alums across the industry.

Koray Camgöz, CEO of the Taylor Bennett Foundation, added:

“Being a TBF alum is about more than taking part in a programme — it’s a badge of excellence you carry throughout your career. It’s a lifelong network.”

“The launch of the AAB marks a new chapter for our alumni community. I’m excited to work with Amira and the new Board to support our growing network and ensure alum voices stay at the heart of what we do.”

The Foundation would like to thank Hanbury Strategy for supporting the launch event.
