Supported by Ready Media Group

After last year’s record-breaking success, the PR Cup is returning on Friday 19th September 2025 for its fifth year – and it’s set to be bigger, bolder, and with even more goals than a monthly KPI meeting.
The five-a-side football tournament, held at Powerleague Shepherds Bush, brings together communications professionals for an afternoon of friendly competition – all in support of a brilliant cause.
In 2024, the tournament saw 31 agencies take to the pitch, with more than 250 players showcasing their skills. It was Deliberate PR who lifted the coveted trophy, while Kekst CNC took home silverware in the Plate competition. Most importantly, the event raised over £13,000 for charity – cementing the PR Cup as a must-attend fixture on the industry calendar.
The 2025 tournament is hoping to raise the bar even higher, with the aim for more teams, more fans, and even more money raised for the Taylor Bennett Foundation, which supports Black, Asian and minority ethnic professionals into careers in PR communications.
Teams can sign up now here. Entry is priced at £500 per team until Friday 29th August, with late entries rising to £600. With places filling fast last year, early registration is strongly recommended to secure your spot.
The tournament is being supported by sponsored this year by 72Point and YOLO Communications, ensuring as much money as possible is raised for the charity. Additional sponsors are also encouraged to get in touch ahead of the event with a range of packages available to help attract the eyeballs of hundreds of PR professionals and potential future clients.
All squads are required to be mixed-gender, with a minimum of one female-participant per eight-player squad. The tournament again invites solo freelancers to let us know of interest in playing on a combined ‘PR Nomads’ squad with spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
New for 2025, the tournament is exploring the possibility of introducing a women’s only tournament for the first time and is actively seeking expressions of interest from agencies who would be keen to take part.
So, whether you’re the Beth Mead of media or think you’re the Pelé of public relations, dust off your boots and help us break even more records this September.
David Fraser, Managing Director of Ready Media Group, said: “It’s been amazing to watch the PR Cup go from strength to strength over the past few years, as a place for PRs to network with each other, and represent their companies and agencies – whilst raising money for a great cause.”
Koray Camgöz, CEO at the Taylor Bennett Foundation, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to have been chosen again as the charity partner for The PR Cup. It’s always a fun event and has grown massively over the past few years. For us, the funding matters more than ever. Every competing player will be helping us open doors for diverse talent in PR and communications. And in a year where budgets have been tighter – that support means the world.”
