The Role: Kickstart Your Career in Tech PR
Are you a recent graduate or looking to break into the fast-paced world of technology public relations? Babel PR is looking for a creative, solutions-led PR Intern to join our thriving London team.
This is a paid, six-month internship designed with long-term potential in mind. Subject to performance, this role is intended to lead to a permanent position as a Junior Account Executive.
What You’ll Do
As a PR Intern, you will develop foundational PR and marketing skills across media relations, content creation, and client management within the B2B technology space.
- Media & Analyst Relations: Monitor daily news for relevant stories, build relationships with journalists and analysts, pitch announcements via phone and email, and help organize events like trade shows and press conferences.
- Content Development: Draft a wide variety of short- and long-form content with a keen eye for detail, including press releases, pitches, blog posts, whitepapers, and social media copy.
- Client & Campaign Management: Prepare for and contribute to client meetings, guide clients on daily requests, monitor digital platforms using industry tools (Response Source, Roxhill, CoverageBook, etc.), and track campaign results.
What You Bring
- Relevant Experience: Demonstrable work experience highlighting strong writing capabilities and phone confidence.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, both virtually and in person.
- Industry Interest: A genuine interest in the B2B technology sector (ranging from green tech and cybersecurity to fintech and e-commerce).
- Work Ethic: Highly motivated to learn, striving for high quality, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Location & Working Policy
- Our office is located in Central London (near Oxford Circus / Great Portland Street).
- First 4 Weeks: For training purposes, all new employees work from the office four days a week (one day from home).
- Post-Training Hybrid Model: Tuesdays and Thursdays are core office days, plus one other day of your choice (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). You are welcome to work from the office more often if you prefer.

Interview Timeline
- Notification Date: All applicants will be notified of their status by 9th June 2026.
- Stage 1 (June 2026): A brief introductory phone call followed by a Microsoft Teams video interview focusing on your motivations, writing skills, and phone confidence.
- Stage 2 (July 2026): Successful candidates will be invited to a 3-hour Discovery Day at our London HQ (approx. 12 candidates). This involves group research/presentation exercises and an individual writing/pitch challenge.
- Final Stage (July 2026): A 1-hour final interview at Babel’s offices with a manager and a director.
