Applications are now open for the Freud Communications 2027 Entry-Level Talent Programme.

Location: London
Salary: Total package of £28,900 (to be reviewed subject to changes in line with the London Living Wage).

We’re looking for our next cohort to join a six-month programme starting in January 2027. It’s for people who are curious about communications, quick to learn and ready to get stuck in from day one.

To give you a flavour of the work, this year we launched the award-winning Joe Wickes X Activate campaign to help get children moving, unveiled a new AI-powered education model, and wrote a speech that senior Google execs presented to the UN. We secured dozens of media articles for CEOs, CSOs and CFOs, masterminded McDonald’s ‘The Counter’, a consumer experience to show-off the quality ingredients in a McDonald’s patty and delivered a standout global launch for Carbone Dubai.

Based in London, the programme gives each participant practical experience, training and support to take their first step into communications.

The programme includes bespoke Freuds Academy training, hands-on experience across Corporate Reputation, Brand, Health and Behaviour Change, and the chance to learn from teams across strategy, social, creative, talent and influence.

Day-to-day responsibilities on the Entry-Level Talent Programme might include:

  • Researching and compiling background information for client teams
  • Supporting media monitoring and tracking articles of interest
  • Using our technology and AI tools as part of a digital-first approach
  • Compiling meeting notes, action lists and call agendas
  • Assisting with media sell-ins, including preparing press releases and media lists
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of PR activity, including events, photoshoots and spokesperson engagements

There is also plenty to get involved in beyond client work, from monthly company socials to supporting high-profile red-carpet events.

Who this programme is for

This is a programme for people who want to understand how ideas travel, how stories shape opinion and how communications can move people, brands and culture.

We’re interested in hearing from you whether you’re coming from education, training, work experience or a different route altogether.

Essential requirements

  • A confident communicator
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A minimum grade 6 in GCSE English, or equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft packages, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies
