We’re looking for a talented, media-savvy, highly organised Account Manager to join our growing PR team, delivering standout, award-winning campaigns which earn attention for a diverse mix of clients.
We believe that making positive change for people and the planet is something that every organisation and brand can, and should, be doing. Encouraging people to take positive steps to upskill and better their future, highlighting the benefits of therapy, minimising the climate impacts of food waste and improving the nation’s financial wellbeing are just some of the positive changes our current campaign work is helping to make.
Kindred’s work and agency approach has seen us named Purpose Agency of the Year for the third time, alongside Third Sector Communications Agency of the Year in 2025 and 2026.
We want to hear from candidates who have well-rounded communications skills and exceptional organisational and research abilities, and who are confident in client management. Candidates should have a desire to learn and improve, be a dab hand at managing deadlines and be able to turn their hand to whatever is needed to support the team and contribute to the success of client campaigns.
Main responsibilities:
- Media relations. You’ll be a key player in landing killer coverage across all media types – and will have clear examples of where you have delivered this in the past. Your firm understanding and interest in the media landscape will inform your media strategy planning, collaborating with teams to deliver effective and impactful media sell-ins and campaign launches. You’ll confidently seek out, engage with and nurture relationships with media and influencers, building intelligence from regular feedback and learning from best-in-class campaigns.
- Campaign delivery. Organised and proactive, you’ll be a competent multi-tasker with ability to prioritise and manage time effectively. With a keen eye for detail, creative flair and experience using simple communications tactics you’ll support your teams to deliver industry-leading positive change campaigns.
- Project management. You’ll take ownership of account organisation and timings to keep multiple strands of activity on track. You’ll be on the front foot when it comes to daily and weekly priorities, and reporting results in line with client expectations, you’ll play a crucial role in showcasing our exciting and impactful campaigns to clients – and beyond.
- Writing and research. You’ll help develop word-perfect written materials including press releases and client updates, and take charge of research and sourcing insights that helps inform client campaigns and new business efforts. Your creative flair and knowledge of media/publications/broadcast shows will lead on developing effective media materials.
- Nurturing junior staff. You’ll be a positive role model for others. You’ll be able to work closely with more junior staff to support them to do the best job possible and deliver consistently and effectively for the team/campaign/client. Your clear briefing and constant check in support will help to empower junior staff to thrive and deliver their best work, ensuring you are teaching and inspiring them along the way.
- Presenting skills. You’ll be an effective verbal communicator and confident at presenting in client meetings and new business pitch scenarios. You’ll possess the ability to make your presence felt and add value in these settings. You’ll also be a thoughtful and active listener in these environments to ensure we are hitting the mark with client expectations.
You:

- Want to be part of an agency delivering positive change through communications
- Can multi-task across client portfolios, with ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Have strong writing skills for a range of audiences and media

- Love working in a team with experience project managing both up and down
- Are passionate about delivering standout creative campaigns
- Have strong industry and media knowledge and can apply this to campaign planning
- Can confidently engage media and influencers to sell in stories and campaigns
- Can effectively manage stakeholder and partner relationships across campaign activity
- Are on the front foot reporting results to the clients and knowing what good looks like
- Capable of getting high-quality work from others through concise briefing and support
- Desire to keep learning and improving – and the ability to support others in this too
- Have a firm understanding on client budgets and how to negotiate with suppliers
