The Outliers – Marketing & Content Executive

London (Hybrid) | Fixed-term Contract

About The Outliers

The Outliers is a talent and coaching business built for the creative communications industry. We place top-tier talent across PR, partnerships, social and experiential, with a particular focus on sport, entertainment, music, gaming and esports. We don’t just fill roles; we’re invested in the people we place and the businesses we work with, and that same philosophy shapes how we build our own team.

Our values guide everything we do: Braver, Trust, Craft, Human, Play.

The Role
We’re looking for bright talent to work directly with our team and help us grow The Outliers, not by making the coffee (we’ve already got a barista), but by getting stuck into the marketing and content that drives the business forward. This is a genuine opportunity to learn how a modern talent and coaching business grows, from the inside. You’ll have a front-row seat to some of the best PR and creative agencies in the business, and the brilliant people inside them, while building real, transferable skills in content, storytelling and marketing.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
● Creating email campaigns people actually want to open
● Helping write LinkedIn content that lands
● Digging into the industry: researching agencies, trends and the people shaping the creative comms world
● Building out lists and insight that help us understand who’s doing brilliant work, and why
● Supporting marketing projects and new ideas as they come up
● Learning how a modern talent and coaching business grows, from strategy through to execution
● Getting exposure to some of the best PR and creative agencies in the industry, and the people who make them work

What We’re Looking For
We care far more about your curiosity than your CV. You don’t need loads of experience. You do need to:
● Have at least 6-12 months of experience working on social media, marketing or PR campaigns;
● Love writing;
● Have a good eye for content;
● Get excited by marketing, storytelling, brands and why people do what they do;
● Ask great questions;
● Bring ideas to the table;
● Get a kick out of making things better, including other peoples’ career journeys.

If you’re the kind of person who notices a great LinkedIn post and immediately starts thinking about why it worked, this is for you.

What You’ll Get
● Direct mentorship from our team
● Real trust and real responsibility from day one, not busywork
● Hands-on experience across email marketing, social content and brand storytelling
● Insight into the talent and coaching world, and the wider creative comms industry
● A team that takes the work seriously and doesn’t take itself too seriously

Details
● Location: London (hybrid)
● Type: 6 Month FTC (with view to convert to a permanent role upon completion)
● Salary: £27,000 (pro rata)
