Account Executive
We are seeking a junior Account Executive to join our dynamic team in Consumer PR. This role is ideal for someone at the outset of their PR career, eager to develop skills in media coverage across various campaigns, press office management, and influencer collaborations. Located in Farringdon, our 13-year-old independent agency represents high-profile brands such as Disney, QVC, Betty Crocker, and White Stuff, among others.

Responsibilities
- Media Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries. Proactively engage with media daily, secure coverage, manage media requests, and coordinate event attendance.
- Content Creation: Draft press materials including releases, news stories, and content pieces tailored for various media outlets.
- Client Interaction: Attend media interviews and client events, sometimes outside normal business hours. Assist in new business pitches and client presentations.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track media coverage and compile detailed reports and evaluations for clients and internal review.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions with innovative ideas for PR campaigns.
Skills Required
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills. Confident in pitching stories and engaging with journalists and clients.
- Creativity and Presentation: Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, with a knack for creating compelling content and presentations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent at building relationships, networking with media and influencers, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Resilience: Able to handle pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage criticism and rejection effectively.
- Organization: Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in PR, journalism, English Literature, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a PR agency, press office, or a related fast-paced media environment is advantageous.
